Over 200 people indicated by the snapping of their glow sticks that they gave their life to Jesus....WOW!! That is the reason we prayed, served and gave, don't forget that is why we do it all!

• 599 children came!

• 50 kids giving their lives to Christ!!!

• We don't have all of the totals on 1st time visitors, but over 100 families came for the first time translating into several hundred first time guests.

• Total attendance over 6 Christmas Services this weekend was 2702. Unbeleivable!

• I thought the kids did a great job singing!

• When we finally shut down Winter Wonderland at 10PM Christmas Eve we still had plenty of snow on a 80 degree day. What a hit Winter Wonderland was! We served over 1500 cup of hot cocoa! Here's the article that ran in the Tampa Bay Times in case you missed it:

• I thought the worship was great!!!

• We had a disastrous start to the 5th service as one of our largest crowds waited patiently in the hallways while our team worked to salvage the service. Due to equipment failure, we had to reconfigure a lot of things. If you were there-thanks for your patience. AND that service had more glow sticks snap than any other, so it was totally worth the wait!

• Great new series called "Identity" starts this weekend. If you are in town be sure to attend one of our regular service times - Saturdays 6:30, Sundays 9, 10:30 or Noon!

Information about New Walk Kid's Christmas Performance

Attention Parents,

I'm so excited and looking forward to our Children's Christmas Performance! We will be performing two songs at the beginning of each service on Friday 23rd at 5:00pm& 7:00pm and Saturday 24th at 9:00am, 11:00am, 5:00pm& 7:00pm. Due to the children having difficulty with "O Come O Come Emmanuel" they will be performing "Joy to the World" instead. They will be singing the first verse below two times through.

The other song they will be singing is "Christmas this Year"

We will have a rehearsal for the kids on Friday 23rd at 1:00pm. We will be doing a run through with the kids on stage with the praise team.

Beach Baptism | Sept 17th, 11am | Fort Desoto

In accord with Christ’s Great Commission—to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”—New Walk will join together for a day of Beach Baptisms at 11am on Saturday, September 17th at Fort Desoto Beach.

Baptism is a crucial next step and act of obedience for any Christ follower, which is preceded by one’s acceptance of Jesus as Lord and the turning away from sin. With full submersion into the water, the believer is identified with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. And this further constitutes the believer’s public testimony—or the outward confession of an inward experience—proclaiming their identification with the Lord.

If you are ready to take this step in making a public declaration of your faith, or if you just want to witness and to celebrate life change with those gathered, join us for this incredible afternoon. The baptisms will be followed by a picnic lunch, so you’re also invited to bring a dish to share. Stay and celebrate as a member of a community of lives changed.

We had an great time taking New Walk on the road to ZHS these past two weeks. With record attendance on Mother's Day and amazing followup week. So thankful for the availability of the facility and for the all the staff at ZHS who helped us make it seem like New Walk had always been at ZHS. So thank you ZHS for your hospitality!

Looking forward to getting back to our "temporary" home at the YMCA as we continue our series "Betrayed". If you missed any of the series and want to get caught up you can check out the past messages HERE.

Easter 2011 Recap

This past Sunday, Easter Sunday, at New Walk Church we had an amazing turnout with tons of life change.

We had 127 decisions for Jesus! And 51 people, on top of what we already had, signed up for the Beach Baptism this Saturday at Fort Desoto Beach. Also, we had 110 First-Time visiting families that were recorded. So proud of the way we invited in a huge way!! In our Kid's Ministries, we had 350 children from birth to 5th grade. And thanks to all who donated eggs and candy, you gave those kids something to look forward to after there awesome time in their classes. You all ROCK!!!! and the best part about our Kid's Ministry, 17 kids accepted Christ!

And at the end of the day after 100s of salvation's and 100s of first time guest we came out with our largest crowd in New Walk history with 2,065 people in attendance!

A special thanks to all our volunteers who made Easter happen....THANK YOU! You all were amazing yesterday and I love you all! We couldn't have done it without you!

As one body and with one voice, we will ask that God would change lives and save souls this Easter, that repentance and salvations would be abundant, and that the name of Jesus Christ would be made famous in East Pasco.

Did you know that New Walk sees almost 900 children and adults come through the doors of the YMCA every Sunday? And of that 900 almost half are coming during our 10:30am service. If you are a regular attender at New Walk, please consider moving to the 9:00am or Noon service to open up the 10:30am service to our first time guests. The 10:30am service is the prime service for First Time Guests. And not only will it open up seats in the Sanctuary but it will also help alleviate high volumes of kids in our Children's Ministry.
