New Walk Easter Recap...

WOW! We are still marveling at how God worked this past weekend for Easter at New Walk. God continues to do great things at New Walk!

I want to thank all the people who sacrificed for the weekend. Those of you who served, donated eggs and candy, supported financially.

ALSO... great job INVITING!

Here are some highlights from the weekend:

• We had (still working on this one) over 250 give their lives' to JESUS between the altar call, cards given, connection cards filled out, and children. YES!!! This is why we do what we do!

** Just a note to all the naysayers who thought we should not have a helicopter egg drop... go suck an EGG! As soon as you understand what "going to the highways and hedges and compel people" means, soften your heart for the lost, learn how much our community is hurting, and realize how the enemy is relentless in keeping people lost... maybe you will then realize why it is all worth it! 250 Lives' eternally CHANGED!

• We had over 200 new families (maybe more as we work on all the information) visit this weekend. Again...Great job inviting!

• We had 3,146 in all 6 worship services...948 Children and 2198 Adults! A new record for us.

• Getting ready now for the largest BEACH BAPTISM in our history. Coming April 21st.
• Back to our regular times this weekend as "RATED-R" continues. 6:30pm on Saturday and then 9:00am, 10:30am & Noon on Sunday.

Loved the altar call moments, seeing some men commit to Jesus, the worship, the movie concession stand,seeing our AMPED teens come forward in the 6th service and worship at the stage. Loved seeing all the kids' faces as they collected eggs.
